Can we bring pets?

Sorry – No. As the house is surrounded by National Park pets are not permitted.

Is the house wheelchair accessible?

Partially – there are two stone steps up from the carpark into a level of the house which includes the kitchen, dining room, one bedroom and bathroom. 4 steps lead down to the lounge and deck while two flights of steps lead up to the upper bedrooms and bathrooms.

Can we have a campfire?

Yes – except during periods of total fire ban. There is a campfire circle in the grounds of the house – a great place to roast marshmallows and tell tall stories.

Can we join in lodge activities?

Yes – subject to availability. Bookings can be made on the bus to O’Reillys (which allows you to walk back 22 km via the Main Border Track), abseiling practice, the exciting flying fox and other activities. Fees are payable direct to the lodge.
