"It was the most spectacular setting for a group of 8 people to celebrate a 40th birthday. The house is stunning and timeless as well as friendly and warm. The views are breaktaking! There was plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked with everthing we needed. The bushwalks were close by, there were heaps of CD's to listen to and everyone had a fantastic 6 nights! Thank you Tony!"

"We had the pleasure of staying at Alcheringa for our annual girls get together. The four of us found this house to be the perfect place to excape the daily grind where you can do as little or as much as you like. There was lots of laughter, loads of good food prepared in the huge well appointed kitchen and a few glasses of wine enjoyed while mixed with the beautiful scenery and bird life. The bush walks are amazing and cater for all levels of fitness. The house is very comfortable and easy to make your own for the time you are there. This would also be a great place for families or as a couples retreat. Thank you Tony for the lovely bottle of wine, chocolates & marshmellows."

Wow - what a stunning location and a great house!  We arrived late at night and loved the feeling of the house but didn't get to see the magnificent view till next morning. The views over the mountains and to the Gold Coast have to be seen to be believed but when you realize the house is perched at the top  of the mountain, it's not surprising.    An interesting fireplace and  a well appointed kitchen to match.  Alcheringa is a great place for a long weekend to enjoy the rain-forest.

Our second visit to Binna Burra and Lamington, staying at Alcheringa.  Thank you Tony for sharing your very special spot on the mountain.  We will be back.

Can't recommend this house enough! Completely enjoyed our pre and post wedding week here,.  It was a welcoming home away from home.  We will be back.

September 22. Shaun, Belinda and Emma. We really enjoyed the Binna Burra walks and particularly the Caves and Coomera Walks. Beautiful scenery and we shall return to this amazing part of south=east Queensland. This house is absolutely wonderful with majestic views.

David and Kate. 7 Oct. 22. Thank you for again sharing your wonderful new Alcheringa East House with us over the past week. We have had a great time enjoying favourite walks - Coomera Falls, Dave's Creek Circuit, Lower Ballanjui and Tullawallal. The bird life around the house was a joy - lots of satin bower birds, butcher birds and currawongs. Any interested birdwatchers should explore the valley below the house - the beginning of the Lower Bellbird Circuit - an excellent spot to see regent and satin bower birds, noisy pittas and many other rainforest and woodland birds. Congratulations Tony on your new garden planting - we look forward to seeing it again next year.

18/9/22. Lynn, Sue, Anna and Gig. Such a spectacular view from every room. We loved staying here. The native garden is fantastic as is the book collection which we thoroughly enjoyed. We'll be back as soon as we can. Beautiful walks on Coomera Circuit and Dave's Creek. Thank you Tony.

17 Oct 22. Christine and Ben. What a magical place you have created. So many little spaces to enjoy the beautiful valleys below, to see the lights of the Gold Coast in the distance, to waking among the misty clouds of a morning. Such bliss. What a wonderful house to return to after a day's hiking and the view and relaxation from the hot tub is such a great way to complete the day. So very thankful we got to experience Binna Burra in absolute five star luxury of the Numinbah East House. We're already looking forward to a return visit.

3/11/22. Bruce and Eva. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up, then the house was so full of magic we didn't want to leave it and finally the National Park was so beautiful we didn't want to go home. we will be back.

11/2/23. Numinbah East House. interNATIONAL PARKtours Alcheringa Escape. Wonderful, peaceful place with magnificent vistas, including from the spa - a great place to relax after walking. We loved the upstairs bedroom amongst the trees with the perfectly positioned window behind the bed. Slept lit by moonlight. Thank you Lisa, Inari and Amy for magic, informative guided walks, excellent food, wine and chats. Very hard to leave this morning.

The wildlife, the views and the architecture have been amazing and we can definitely see how much time you have spent thinking about the design of this house.
